Systematic Synthetic Phonics

Systematic Synthetic Phonics

Phonics is a way of teaching reading where children are taught to read letters or groups of letters by saying the sound or sounds they represent. Children can then start to read words by blending these sounds together to make a word.

At Little Digmoor, we use the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme which is a validated Systematic Syntheic Phonics (SSP) scheme.
